Oct 25, 2022 (MLN): Domestic equities on Tuesday witnessed a volatile session as traders remained careful and booked earnings most of the time amid political sounds.
Consequently, the promoting force has led the benchmark KSE-100 index toward pink, shedding 157.21 factors to settle the index at 42,190.02, marking an intraday high of 42,523.51 and an intraday lower of 42,156.68.
By the session’s conclude, the full volumes of the KSE-100 index stood at 72.23 million shares, in comparison to 65mn shares traded on Monday.
In terms of sectors, most of the destructive contributions came from technological know-how & communication, cement, and vehicle which cumulatively subtract above 150 points from the index tally by the day’s close.
Out of 92 companies’ shares traded these days 29 organizations recorded gains and 59 companies sustained losses and 4 companies’ shares remained unchanged.
Meanwhile, the volume leaders on the benchmark index had been PTC (6.63mn), UNITY (6mn), TRG (5.9mn), and ATRL (5.35mn).
The scrips which received the most in the course of the session provided: DAWH (3.60%), GADT (2.65%), POML (2.55%), and ICI (2.1).
On the other hand, the shares that emerged as net losers through the day provided TRG (7.5%), NRL (2.81%), MUREB (2.44%), and PSMC (1.92%).
