When I say stop advertising, it does not mean stop advertising completely, that would be a bit drastic. You just need to stop doing the advertising that you are not completely sure is working for you and put the money saved into various other ways of marketing your business that do work for you.
We all get into the habit of running the same old adverts over and over in the same old places again and again without actually know if they are doing any good. It is very important to test the results of any advertising that you do to really see what works for you and what does not, and then stop wasting money on the advertising that is not working.
We are also under a constant of barrage of people trying to get us to advertise in their publications. How do you know if a website or a radio ad will work for you unless you try it but the crucial key to this is that you need to accurately measure the results of any new advertising that you do so you can determine if it is worth doing again. There could be loads of potential customers that do not know about you because you are not advertising in the places they are looking.
You need to make the most of the money you are spending on advertising. Test, measure the results and stop wasting money on advertising that does not work!
