Phoenix police arrested Rodrigo Zamora Valenzuela, 29, on suspicion of stabbing two people, killing a person of them, Thursday afternoon.
Officers responded to stories of a stabbing around 27th Avenue and Jackson Avenue all around noon, in accordance to department spokesperson Sgt. Andy Williams.
They learned Zamora was suspected of attacking 46-12 months-old Jeffrey Matteson and a lady at a small business, Williams reported.
A different lady experienced a minimal injury, but did not need hospital transport. Officers identified and arrested Zamora promptly, Williams reported.
Matteson and the woman have been both of those taken to a hospital in critical condition. The female was later in steady issue, but Matteson died at the healthcare facility, Williams explained.
Zamora was booked into a Maricopa County jail on suspicion of a person count of very first-degree murder and a single depend of tried initially-degree murder, Williams reported.
